Troubleshooting and Maintaining Cisco IP Networks (CCNP TSHOOT)

Course Description:

The course focuses on planning tasks, evaluations of designs, performance measurements, configuring and verifying, and correct troubleshooting procedures and documentation tasks. From this course you will learn the foundational topics for critical analysis, planning, verification and documentation, while configuring tasks would have been mastered in the CCNP ROUTE and CCNP SWITCH material. The course walks you through several real-world troubleshooting examples to help you refine your study in the art of troubleshooting.

1. Planning Maintenance for Complex Networks

       ·    Applying Maintenance Methodologies

               o    Models and methodologies commonly used for network maintenance 

                     and the benefits that   these models bring to an organization

               o    Select generalized maintenance models and planning tools that fit your organization

       ·    Common Maintenance Processes and Procedures

               o    Essential network maintenance tasks

               o    Advantages of scheduled maintenance

               o    Key decision factors that affect change control procedures in order to

                     create procedures that fit the needs of your organization

               o    Essential elements of network documentation and their function

               o    Plan for efficient disaster recovery
